Shooting Star Park is a landmark aerospace-themed playspace in Weatherford, Oklahoma, developed in collaboration with MA+ and Kimley-Horn to honor the legacy of astronaut Thomas P. Stafford. Situated directly across from the Stafford Air and Space Museum, the park invites exploration through a custom climbable plane, a UFO structure, and embankment slides that echo the wonder of flight. Distinct play areas, including a water runner, a sensory garden, climbing structures, and a swingset with sweeping park views, offer something for every age and interest, grounding the park's cosmic theme in a space built for community and discovery.
